This Sunday was great and such a blessing to all of us. Suzie, Jack, Donny, Teressa, Mary, and Manson were all there this Sunday and Hopper came up at the end to hug our necks. The message came from Mathew 20:20...
Andy brought a beautiful message about the importance of our salvation and how our Ransom has been paid by Jesus dieing on the cross. Mary expressed her love for the Lord. There were tears and praises. Andy is a good teacher and took us to several verses in the Bible just to prove that we are not slaves to our sins and we are forgiven. Mary expressed that God is our mediator and I thought that is a good insight. Mary said her dad taught her that and that is cool. Landell came to be with us this Sunday and what a testimony he gave. It was great what God has done in his life. Rick gave a testimony about his walk. It meant a lot to everyone. He is so full of the spirit and the folks from the cove love him so much. I saw several people with big tears. I know God is working and everyday God opens our eyes to see as he sees.
Jack had a birthday and I brought him a cake and a card. We all sang happy birthday and he just had tears and as we were doing this Suzie just watched him and cried. After we wrapped things up Rick, Landell, and Mike all followed me, Andy and Jack to Walmart. Donny had given Jack money for his birthday to get a battery charger. We all went into Walmart and the guys got Jack a stove to cook on for the camp and gave it to him. Jack just cried all the way home. He was so thankful. Jack has a long hard walk in front of him but he is the light shining there for all the folks. Jack has come a long way and Rick prayed for him especially because as Christians know it does not get easier when you become a Christian it becomes harder and the devil will attack harder...so we pray for his walk.
Let all us pray to see and then to walk with no fear!
God Bless
