Sandwich Day 28 - April 8, 2008

Dear Diary,

It has been 2 weeks since I have written and week #3 is upon me. Sandwich Day is still going....Mystery Angel continues to bring juice boxes...Gaye and Sam still sends delicious homemade cookies and muffins.

At this time, The Cove is the only visit that is being made. The group is small. It's been weeks since I've seen Teresa and Vinny. I understand that Mary is back with Joe camping somewhere several exits away. I'm not sure where Donny and Manson are, for a while, I think they were with Mary and Joe. Rumor has it that Rabbit is not welcomed with the Cove group as he has taken company with a lady who is strung out on herione. The Cove draws a line on hard core users.

Susie and Jack...Taz...Hopper...Ryan are left these days. We continue to take sandwich lunches on Tuesdays. Work right now is demanding and we have to keep our prioirity in order. God is faithful to allow time for this one sandwich run to the Cove and as long as the door is opened to do so...sandwiches will be delivered.

I ask God if this assignment is coming to an end and so far the answer I am following is..."Not yet". I have decided to not journal every trip. Each trip is still a blessing but I find that writing for the sake of writing is not what this is about. I will make entries when there is a need. Otherwise...please keep the Sandwich Crew lifted up in prayer all for God's glory. For those who have continued to look in each week...please continue to do so as Cameo and Andy are also remaining faithful with The Church at The Cove.
