Donny...

As you may or may not have known Donny from the Cove was hospitalized a couple of weeks ago. His alcoholism had progressed to that level and his liver and other organs began to shut down. Yesterday he passed away quietly. I pray he was in no pain as he had been unconscious since the week-end.

Please pray for the Homeless that had adopted Donny as family and had taken care of him as good as possible in his last days.

As we approach the 1 year anniversary of feeding the homeless we have now lost 2 of them. Both were very gentle souls and were very much loved. I can't help but think that if someone, living wide awake, had encountered them earlier in their lives that things might have been different. We should always be watching for the opportunities to help at earliest possible moment.
